Autotrain Terminal, Lorton VA

This project involved the manufacture of ten torchieres: four that were 108" tall and six that are 84" tall, otherwise of identical size and construction.  With the exception of fasteners, the construction is entirely of aluminum.  Finishes are #4 satin aluminum and a painted finish.  Indirect illumination is by a single 175 watt metal halide lamp.  The ballast is in the base.
