Project of the Month for February, 2006

Cheyney University, Carnegie Library

This project involved the restoration of six pendant fixtures. The building had been un-used for many years and the blackened iron fixtures were in poor condition. The fixtures were stripped to bare metal and re-finished.

The mica panels were cleaned and reinstalled. The art glass panels were cleaned and re-installed and broken panels were replaced with matching new panels The fixtures were re-wired for three A-lamps, replacing the single mogul base lamp.
